If you are interested in providing a loving home for any animal on our pet list, you can download an Adoption Application,  or fill out an application online. For the downloaded application, you can then either bring it to the Shelter when you come to visit, or E-mail it back to us.  (Please note that the Shelter does not do same day adoptions.  However, exceptions may be made if we receive your application prior to your visit.) The animals in our care are held for a seven day period and then are put up for adoption. We screen, advise, and follow up on all adoptions. Our adoption hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30PM-8:00PM and Sunday from Noon-4:00PM. Saturdays are by appointment only.  973-470-5936

We'd like anyone who has adopted from the Shelter to write to us and send pictures so that we can share your happy stories with others.  Make sure to check out our "Adoption Update" page for the latest stories about how our animals have brought joy into people's lives. Giving the gift of love to a homeless animal is priceless, and you will have a lifetime friend.  You can E-mail a photo or story to us and we will include it in our gallery it for you.
