We are always in need of volunteers, 16 years of age and older. If you've ever considered volunteering at the shelter, please seriously consider doing so now. We have many cats, kittens and dogs and we need volunteers to help give them the love, care and attention they need and deserve. Can you spare an hour or two each week to help? If so, stop in any evening between 6:30pm and 8:00pm or Sunday from 12-4pm and fill out a volunteer application. Also, if anyone can spare an hour or two on a Monday, Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday morning, please let us know. If you have any questions about volunteering, please call the shelter at 973 470-5936, leave a message and a volunteer will return your call. Our animals thank you!

Hoffmann-La Roche will make a donation to Friends of the Shelter whenever any employee volunteers at the shelter. If you've thought about volunteering but have never gotten around to it, here's another great reason to do so! If you're interested please stop by the shelter during our adoption hours (Mon-Fri 6:30-8pm and Sun 12-4pm), fill out a volunteer form and start helping the animals.
